NO PURCHASE OR ONLINE ACCESS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open solely to legal residents of Texas who are eighteen (18) years or older at the time of entry. Any person under the age of eighteen (18) years or who is not a legal resident of the State of Texas is ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law. Winners of previous quickdfw.compromotions are not eligible to win another quickdfw.com promotion within a 90-day period.

Record Street in the lobby of the Belo Building and enter to win onsite. Only one (1) vote received will be counted towards winning the Chevy Cobalt. No mechanically reproduced registration cards will be accepted. Your entry is deemed submitted upon receipt of your text message, online entry, or registration card in the manner described herein. Any purported entry received by any means other than described herein is ineligible. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY FOR THE DURATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES.
DEADLINES: The Sweepstakes begins at 7:00 a.m. CT on February 16 and ends at 5:00 p.m. CT on March 2, 2005 (the Promotion Period.) All entries must be receivedwithin the Promotion Period. No submissions will be accepted after the Promotion Period for any reason. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the on-line entries will be Belo Interactive’s server machine(s) located in the Central Standard Time (CST) zone. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of the text messaging entries will be when the message is received by Belo Interactive’s text partner.

ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
PRIZE:
There will be one (1) grand prize awarded to the one (1) winner of the Sweepstakes. One (1) winner will receive one (1) factory-equipped 2005 Chevy Cobalt (the “Prize Vehicle”), homologated to U.S. specifications, with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of up to sixteen thousand two hundred sixty five dollars ($16,265.00). This Prize Vehicle is non-transferable. Winner must provide proof of a valid driver’s license and appropriate automobile insurance in order to take delivery of the Prize Vehicle. The Prize Vehicle will be delivered through an authorized dealership designated by Administrator and located in the State of Texas. If, due to production shortages, component availability, or causes beyond the control of Sponsor and Administrator, the Prize Vehicle is not available, then Administrator shall have the right to substitute another vehicle of equal or greater value. Winner will be solely responsible for all taxes or fees related in any way to the Prize Vehicle, including but not limited to state and local taxes and title, registration and destination fees and dealer preparation fees. The Prize Vehicle may not be redeemed for cash; substitutions may not be requested. By participating in Sweepstakes and accepting a prize, participants and the winner will be deemed to agree to these Rules. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued for all prizes with a retail value in excess of $600. Travel is not included unless specifically stated.
WINNER SELECTION: Winner selection shall take place on or about March 3, 2005 at 400 S. Record Street, Dallas TX 75202. The provisional winner will be selected by a random drawing from all qualified entries received by the deadline. Selection of the provisional winner will be made by Administrator, whose decision shall be final. The provisional winner will be notified by e-mail or phone at the e-mail address or telephone number associated with such person's qualified entry, on or near date specified. If the provisional winner is unreachable by Administrator using such e-mail address or telephone number, or does not reply to Administrator within two (2) business days of e-mail notification by Administrator, such person will be deemed disqualified and an alternate provisional winner will be selected by a random drawing from the remaining qualified entries and notified in the manner and subject to the rules described above. In order to be named the official winner, a provisional winner will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance Form/Release of liability, in form satisfactory to Administrator, within ten (10) business days of notification. Noncompliance or failure by a provisional winner to meet the eligibility requirements specified in these rules will result in disqualification and an alternate provisional winner will be selected.
USE OF SWEEPSTAKES INFORMATION: Notwithstanding any contrary provision in any of Sweepstakes Providers' respective privacy policies, Participants grant to Administrator, Sponsors and Sweepstakes Providers, and Administrator, Sponsors and Sweepstakes Providers reserve, the right to use any and all information related to the Sweepstakes, including information provided by Participants in connection with the Sweepstakes, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
