My SS/SC has the normal LS/LT wing and in many ways, I wish it had the normal SS wing. Some say it looks goofy or childish, but I think it makes the car stand out.

Hmm. It's according how you go wingless. It's really a matter of balancing out the car. Just pulling off the wing without doing anything else unbalances the SS/SC. Reminds me of a doberman pincher with a cut off tail!
But I think the reason it looks so big is that the car sits so high from the factory with it's but up in the air.
Draw that attention elsewhere by lowering the car and adding some rims and tint with some different headlight or something up front that changes the focal point off the wing.
Same thing applies if you go wingless.
But I also think it looks weird without the wing because we're so used to seeing it with one on. The SS/SC was born with it so it just makes sense to keep it.
I see Evos without a wing and it puts a knot in my stomach every time I see pics. The car comes from the factory with one, why remove it? Just the way I think .2 worth.

The first thing i was going to do when i got my car was to get a lower wing . For some reason the hi rise grew on me and ive kept it . I think it flows nicely with the ss/sc body kit , but I change my mind about which one every other day or so. lol

I'm with you, I think it looks stupid without the wing on an SS/SC. I don't like the look of the bodykit without the wing. I do think the wing could be smaller, but I've seen a car like mine without the wing and its not for me.
It is kinda cool though to trick people into not knowing that its an SS, the other one I knew of was lowered, debadged, dewinged and on different rims. People thought it was a base cobalt, not a strong SS/SC, first it was 2.5/60's then 2.7/60's/50 shot.

I think its a gay looking oversized tinker toy plastic disaster in my opinion (but great for tailgate parties to put food and beer on), but the car looks too plain without something back there. Every damn little car has some sort of factory looking gay wing on it now to the point its ridiculous what they are putting on cars.
