Is it worth getting '10 Hyundai Genesis 2.0T Track ?
It's an opinion, not a troll attempt. lol I just don't understand how you can say that the cobalt is anything but what you just said about the genesis. It's a neat car, but its far from a great sports car, and that's exactly how I feel about the cobalt. For instance, touting how great the cobalt is and then stating that you have to remove the interior panels and use double sided tape to stop all the rattles, I don't get that, how can you adamantly defend how great a car is when you have to do something like that. lol

I'll admit, I did test drove 2010 Genesis 2.0t and 3.8 track. 2.0t just sucks and 3.8 is much better than 2.0t and it already has 306hp in it. Dealer was gonna sell me 3.8 track with automatic for 73 thousand miles for $12,000 and I was right in between then I decided no and left home. It's not bad at all but heavy.
Show me a better complete package car that fits the SS cobalt price tag; you can't.
The quality of the genesis is **** for that price. Just because it's RWD and newer doesn't mean a thing. You think cobalts have problems, own a genesis. The interior make look nice but the quality is exactly what you get from Chinese items on eBay. And the seats in the 2.0's are terrible; base model saturn terrible. Sure, the 3.6 has all of the bells and whistles, but at that price tag you still have a weak trans, cheap quality interior, and regret every time see something all around better you could have bought for the same price.
And nope, cobalt SS isn't a sports car; it's a sports compact. It is a sports car heart breaker tho and that's what makes some of it's economy box features no big deal for us. I could could give two ***** less about heated seats, cameras, or whatever nullshit luxury feature 2015 cars have when I'm busy making people with $450 a month car payments on their v8 scratch there head while I do a third gear rolling burnout.

I wished Chevrolet had stayed on Cobalt but they moved on to Cruze. It got worse and worse, General Motor are failing and losing a lot of customers with their dang recalls. SMH
considering the cobalt was going for 24-26k new there are a lot. what people paid for it new is a testament to gm. you could get them for 19 and thats pretty sad gm had to put that much on the hood. and no grown person really gives a damn about a 3rd gear burnout. theyre happy the chrome door pulls dont come off in their hands, the sunroof bezel isnt in their lap. things like that. and other dude dont use that bullshit ring arguement. you cant find that ******* track on a map without googling it and you will never drive it. its an arguement for dumbfuck ricers.
IDK or care what ring argument you are talking about and i dont really care; I stated an opinion.
We are talking about performance oriented cars so it does matter how they perform.
I guess you missed the posts that I have been in, around, worked on, and drove Genesis cars. They ******* suck! They are cheap cars with a high price tag just like the CSS was. I would not call going from a CSS to A genesis at all. It is a lateral move at best with similat issues under a different product name.

As for being a dumbfuck ricer, your logic, spelling, and grammar is dumbfuck ricer. I've been to Germany dumbfuck. The ring is one of the longest most technical tracks out there, when cheap econobox with engine and suspension mods goes around it the fastest in stock guise, it is an amazing achievement dumbfuck!
The recalls are merely a side effect of a much larger problem with GM, which shows in all their car's, with how cheaply they are made. Former engineer that was working for GM at the time the whole ignition switch scandal started over 10 years ago called it "The gm way". Out of all the car manufacturers out right now, i would say GM is probably the worst when it comes to build quality and customer service, which is ashame because ive always been a big fan of GM car's, but when you get down to the nitty gritty of it all, cheap becomes the underlined word to describe a GM car. The fact that hyundai stands by the genesis with a 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty and a 50,000 mile 5 year bumper to bumper, highlights the fact that they are just better built, vs GM with their 5 year powertrain warranty and 3 year 36k bumper to bumper, because they know the car is going to fall apart.
my SS/NA and my mom's 08 2LT have been relatively free of any major issues as well, but my SS/NA still nickle and dimes me to death at every turn. From having to replace door handles and peeling interior trim, to VVT solenoids, sensors, shocks and struts, bushings, heated seat components, etc etc etc. The fortunate thing about my car is that it suits my budget right now, its cheap to fix, and it holds together well for the most part if you take care of it, that's why I like it, but for a car thats not even 10 years old yet, by other car standards its falling apart at the seems.

Worthless warranty because of **** service dept; absolute nightmare, many stories to tell! I won't take my car to service anymore now that I'm out of warranty.
I attribute the solenoid issues, rear brakes which have been problem free since I fixed, door issues, sunroof, etc. to GM, but blowing the engine because 24 psi tuned is on me.

I agree that quality is an issue. My issues thus far at 92000 miles: solenoid issues, rear brakes, sunroof exploded spontaneously lol, blew ring at 50000 miles but I'm tuned, misfire issues, intercooler cracked, door handle constantly breaking, door latch sticking, melted piston at 80000 miles but I'm tuned lol, gas gauge barely working, sunroof doesn't close unless i help it.
