wow had my car for one month and wrecked

I was going to philly for street racing and this idiot infront of me didnt tie off her luggage and it fell off and busted my grill, fog light, dented rim, scratched the bumper badly . Well we sat on the side of the road for an hour and a half for the damn cops to show up. and it turns out the chick conviently lost her insurance card. So cops wrote up the police report and she got a ticket for failer to control items on her vehicle.

Anyways 2 days ago i went to get my damage appraised and it came to 1,100 bucks.. So i was like wow whever shes gonna pay for it. Well my insurance agent gets back to me, and says the girl keeps tellin him she wont tell him who she has and its not her fault that i ran into stuff on the road. WTF!!! WHAT A The insurance guy said there is a 80% chance she doesn't have insurance at all. which means im Wow.. rediculous. So now I have to fix my on my own and not get paid. ill prolly end up going to court once they figure out if she has or doesnt have insurance. but rediculous. if there is anyone out there to help me out with some parts. My car is the rally yellow SS/NA..

Thanks guys... this just sucks when i just got the damn thing... argh

damn. thats ****** nasty.

this is one really good reason for that extra insurance clause you can get for when the other guy isnt insured.

Hope she pays up, or take that bitch to court.

good luck man

yea man dude this sux. i couldnt believe it. so im out of the money.. my insurance said i have the option on filing a claim and they will pay for it but my insurance would go up, so i said forget that. its just funny cause when i talked to her she was being all nice and was like ill give you 2,000 if you dont report it. and ill just make payments to you.. i was like umm yea no!! i cant trust you. i mean if she cant cover the 1,000 for my car how was she gonna cover the 2,000... its just rediculous. like im lost for words, specially when you get a car and you absolutely love it and this happens. i mean its my first car that i got ever over even 10 grand, so it just blows...

don't you have uninsured motorist coverage... I think it just a few $$$ more and works in situations like this one!

Everyone has un-insured motorists coverage....it's standard, but that doesn't mean your insurance won't go up since techincally your insurance company is still paying.

Call your agent, get him to help you; that's what they are there for. Tell him having a wrecked car is cutting into your street racing big time!

wow thank god for michigans no fault law. If you get into an accident, it doesnt matter who is at fault, your insurance picks up the bill for your car and your car only. You can make the other persons insurance pay up to a 500 dollar deductable.

Hope you win your case
