Wrecked

Well, my baby is gone. Got crashed into this morning by a bitch running a stop sign. I'm 99% sure its going to be totalled... So in the next couple of weeks here after all the crap with it being appraised out and getting them the title and cuttin me a check, I'm going to be buying a new car. There's a possiblity of be getting an 06 but, Im not sure. I have parts (short throw shifter, sparco shift knob, Injen intake) That are still in the box never used that Im probly going to be selling now unless I get an 06. Im going to try to get an Evo IX Just figured I'd share my loss

Yeah guys I'm aight, little banged up. PM me if you're interested in parts. B&M short throw and sparco globe X shift knob are still in their packaging never installed. Torque dampener was installed and driven ONCE and Im not lying, about 5 miles. I WILL take that off, no damage to it at all I got hit on the other side Also I have the Injen CAI that had fitment issues new pipe comes TOMORROW so that will be brand new too if anyone wants that, Im sure you guys can get hi-flow filters no problem. So all you really need is the pipe the other stuff (filter, maf sensor clamps, rubber elbow bla bla) you can all get easy so, thats another brand new part basically... let me know who's interested and make me an offer... I do have pics, they'll be up shortly roof buckled, that's why its gonna be totalled...

The B&M is for the SS/SC only because of the reverse lockout, didn't know if you knew that or not.

Sorry for your loss Nauticabri, but glad that you are ok. Good luck in dealing with insurance and whatever ride you decide to replace it with.

I looked at the first wrecked pic and then couldn't look at the rest. It made me cringe seeing a black SS/SC wrecked. What is the deal with Cobalts (usually SS/SC's) getting written off lately. Sad to see...

I had a similar accident where an inch later and I was dead.

My brother was driving turning left and someone hit the right side of car. A foot or more I would have been dead for sure since the guy hit us going around 70 km/h.

I'm also wondering how the airbags felt?

The airbags definitely fly out amazingly fast with a lot of force. I dnt have any cuts from the air or "air bag burns" or anything like that anywhere except for my arm (Im assuming its from the airbag, could be from the steering wheel) I guess they did there job since i didnt bust my face on the leather steering wheel. Entire car wreaked like smoke and that powder when they deployed tho, I thought the thing was on fire!!

And again to everyonewho's interested in my parts, just make me an offer and best offer will get them, that only seems fair. There still is a possibility I get an 06, in that instance Id probly keep the shifter and the dampener but I dont kno yet if that's going to happen, will shortly tho. Gotta see how much an evo would run me a month, and see how much they give me for my car being totalled...
