In the late 80's I had a '76 Vette and wore my "I'd rather push my Corvette than drive Jap crap" T-shirt. I was ignorant and thought there was nothing better.
I own hondas now but have an open mind to any other brand if it's the one that delivers.
The internet just magnifies the ignorance because you can say what you want without backing it up and turn off your machine when yer done.
I bet this guy in the Evo thought he was the sh%^t too:

As far as the Civic Si and SS SC I think the SS would win but just barely. Can I back that up? Nope!

What?! The $30,000 Civic didn't beat it?! It has some great performance parts on it but if I'm gonna spend that much on a Civic it better have at least beat the Civics that cost $10k less by several car lengths!
Buyer's remorse anyone?

"Um.... no you are wrong. Civic SI would roll on a Cobalt SS anyday, anytime. Provided that the driver is competent and willing to rev the guts out of the civic. And what would your definition of a stock cobalt be ? one of the various "Stage" upgrades you can get for them ?. Quite honestly if I bolted a SC upto a civic si it would develop more than a measly 205 hp."

"stock si's run high 14's also. from a dig, its a drivers race but from a roll the cobalt doesnt stand a chance."

heres the link 4 the video if u want to read more posts. i got a little ticked after a bit so i had 2 post

thats my favorite excuse ever. "Well if i had a 16000 redline i could smoke the **** out of you even more! "

No, he owns Billy's Automotive Racing Developement which is a race shop all dedicated to Hondas. That is just his DD, If he actually wanted to go he woulda brought out his h22 CRX, his brother's 30psi ITR Civic, or one of his many Civic coupes. I havent seen any(eccept the Mugen) of his cars slower than 12's.
