i went and got my car plates today and i asked the lady how many years it is before i have to get an echeck done. she told me never, because in december they are getting rid of the echecks all together. she also said there is supposed to be some type of new gasoline that will be sold, and that is the assurance the state will use for cleaner air...

that would be a shame if my cat fell off one day(soon).....

 

Here in Wayne County we have never had to get echecked.......farming county.

 

guess it was just the cities like cleveland and dayton/cinci then

 

ya i heard that too here in Ohio....if your car is 5 years or younger you wont have to get one and if you do have to get one, it will be FREE! About damn time!

 

Maryland is a visual inspection (making sure you have a CAT and O2 sensors) and then they hook you up to the ODB2 scanner and if your car passes emissions testing done by the computer your golden. If you don't have ODB2 I think you have to get hooked up to an exhaust gas analyzer.

 

that was gonna be my big issue zinner. for some strange reason, every car i have owned, randomly one day the cat just falls off when it's on a lift. and if necessary some mil elimninators install themselves

i'm not sure what it is, maybe my cars are catching catalytitis or something

 

anybody at dragway 42 yesterday? i saw a black ss there. I saw it running mid 15's all day, not too impressed. I ran a 16 flat (stock vr6).
