Your first time...

Get the dirty thoughts out of your mind people!

What was your first time at the track like? How did you do? I'm planning on going this weekend and am nervous about running for my first time.

Any tips, suggestions, remarks?

I am 45 minutes south of Chicago off I-57.

I plan to go to US-41 over in Indiana.

dont be surprised if you have a few launches that suck.....
excessive spin....wheel hop......might miss third once or twice....
try launching at 2 grand and feather it a little to get that power down as soon as possible to avoid wheel hopping.

these cars can be kinda picky on the launch.

you should run low 15's your first time out if your stock.

dont be to discouraged, most people are running 14.8 or higher first time out.

more seat time and launch practice can bring some nice low 14's stock.

really though.. I'd say if your wheel hopping or spinning let off the gas for a split second. Also, don't feather the clutch between shifts. Granny shifting will always net a bad time..

Well, I just got stage 2 in and my AEM intake - so I thought I'd go see how I'd do.

I wanted to go out today and work on launching, but its raining...
