zzp adjustable master cylinder install

In got an ion redline and the clutch pedal has a lot of play up top and grabs right on the floor so I bought the adjustable master cylinder to take the slack out of the pedal, but how the hell do you get to that thing.any help would be appreciated

I just got the car do I have no idea if the clutch was ever changed but the clutch grabs fine and holds the power so I don't think it's the clutch and if I.climb under the dash and push the clutch it looks like rod didn't move in until the pressure starts.

I didnt have time the day I was at my shop but if there was air in the line wouldn't the rod on the master cylinder still get pushed in. From how it looks either the clutch pedal comes up to high or the rod isn't long enough
