I'm just trying to keep my car looking as stock as possible. That's why I don't want the lettering so people don't know what I have upgraded under the hood.

Well I am in for the IC only, So I don't know where that puts me on the list?

I don't feel the piping is worth it with the stock turbo. The majority of the gains will be seen from the cooler and not the piping. I am going to take that extra money and buy an intake or dp, more hp per $ i feel.

I want the HAHN logo but it may set off some alarms at the dealer if I need some service.

Have you ever seen the stock piping under full boost?? It swells up like a football even at 15psi.

snyapse got like 5 wheel in the very very top rev range when they swapped their piping in, will hardly be even noticed.

5 hp for 350 to 500 dollars?

ummmm not for me

that tells me the stock piping is just fine the way it is. From a car show/popping my hood/ look what I have aspect, then go for it.

the solstice guys swap theirs out becuase they have a much worse piping track than the cobalts do, so for them it might be worth it.

I will spend that $ on an intake that will prob net 15 wheel or so for the same money or even less, so in the long run, Hahn will get that extra money from me anyway, just for a diff part.

My old saying is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

But the meat and potatoes of the upgrade comes from the cooler.

I agree with you on the power aspect but I am boosting the full 24psi on mine and I do not trust the plastic piping the flat part over the engine swells up as well as the soft rubber part right by the turbo..I know I will not see hardly any gains from it but for me I would rather be safe then sorry.. I have seen mine in person on the dyno and you would think the pipe would bust, but for some odd reason it doesn't. I also look at the fact that the matal pipe will not expand so that means the air will get forced through the I/C right away instead of the miniscule time that it takes to swell that plastic pipe up. I will also be getting the intake i'm not saying I know more than anyone but the only reason I am getting the piping is to be on the safe side.

Forgive me, but I didn't see this question asked:

W/ custom piping, will this intercooler fit on an 05-07 SS/SC? I don't know if GM moved the Rad/AC from where it was on the 05-07's. If it did fit, this would be a great upgrade for those wanting to go w/ custom setups for the SS/SC...

if you buy both are the prices the same or is there some kinda discount and if the people are buying both do they count as buyers for the people that just want IC OR piping

if you buy them both, you get free shipping.

but the prices are the same for either part if you buy them seperate, assuming we get enough guys around.

hoping for 20
