I think $350 shipped a is fair compromise.....

I'll probably pass up on it though bc I hate group buys and am impatient when I order parts.....no way I'm waiting 60 days for something to ship out.....

Could it possibly be a shipped out when its bought....or will it be the traditional GB where veryone waits til' its over.......If you set the price up front then u can ship as we buy right.......

Well, we could also look at 45 days...like I say, I'll go with consensus on time, so long as it makes sense.

We'd likely not build the run until the GB is complete and all members deposited. Of course, that's part of how the economy of a GB works on our end...instead of building 'onesie-twosies' we just blow through a bunch, sharing the savings with you good folks.

Don't be concerned on time though...we have a large and capable fab staff who can really make it happen! In our last GB, we built and shipped 30 3" catbacks...in less than 2 weeks

If you are planning on doing the GMPP Stage 1 upgrade, gettin the BSR tuner, or tuning with HPTuners then this is a good mod for you let's agree on this price so we can get em sooner!!

hahn makes Top notch quality products i have the intercooler for the ss/sc hahn kit and i cant even begin to make it work hard lol it takes what ever i can throw at it and temps never rise above 100* with a ambient temp of 75-80* and boost levels of 22-24psi

great intercooler and this one is a tad larger than mine i believe!

based on the quality of Hahn's products and how much other sites sell their stuff for i'd think that $775 would be a FAIR price to pay for both because i think i'd definitely want both.

round $400-$375 for the charge piping and the same for the intercooler being that it's a MONSTER!! and way bigger than Synapse's I/C.

Hey Bill, can us HHR guys jump in on this? This looks better than the introductory pricing over there. I promise I won't tell!

I would vote for a combo of the piping + intercooler for

1-10 $675
11-15 $650
16-20 $625
20+ $600

Intercooler alone:

1-10 -$425
11-15-$410
16-20-$400
20+ -$375

Piping:
1-10 -$315
11-15-$300
16-20-$275
20+ -$260

Well, I don't blame you folks for trying...I would too!

...but I have to say, we'll need to get the intercooler price up to a more reasonable region. This is a very sophisticated piece, and is worth more than anything else currently available based on cooling capacity, workmanship, and overall features.

As a point of comparison, the considerably smaller Garrett core adapted for the competing product referred to earlier in this thread has an MSRP of $349...just for the core. Based on that, as our core is 28% larger: $349 x 1.28 = $446 MSRP for the core alone...and that's before the cost of primo sheet aluminum and tube is added, and then the ever-expensive expert fabrication and TIG-welding you see in the photos (my veteran fabricators and welders, each boasting decades of experience, do NOT work for peanuts!).

Now, I know...it's a premium product, from a very reputable company that's not only supported the domestic compact cause for over ten years, some would say we even pioneered it! This type of quality and rep may not be for everyone...but I don't think any of you will be diasppointed in the value per dollar that this GB ultimately results in.

i think thats fair. the combo should be a lil less though. i mean instead of buyin each seperately the combo should be like maybe 100 cheaper. nothin too major and since i know u do sport tint red hahn logo on yer intercooler id definatelt want that!!! so around 480-500 for the I/C. and im thinkin 800 for the combo.

Might I point out as well, that AGP charges $550 for their mini-FMIC upgrade.
Their other selections of race IC's range from $650 to $850.

... just for comparison...

Umm...keep in mind the prices I quoted above were for Core Only...that's just the starting point, before endtanks are fabricated and installed.

Here's a bare core:

+1, it's a bit awkward debating on prices Bill. Members want to get something for a low price, but the product is probably worth a considerable amount more than most of the current suggestions. We trust your judgment Bill and we know you're not going to screw us, so name your price man!

I suppose it is a bit of a loaded debate, what with me sitting here with all the answers, but showing only one card at a time

This concept worked well last time with the exhaust GB, but as it's a bit unusual, I suppose it's not a sure-fire thing every time!

OK, please, any opinions on quantity and'or price are still very welcome. I'll go sharpen my pencil, and then put some numbers up here too

Ah, the inevitable crossover voice! Fact is, we are floating this GB idea here, and may go the same way for you HHR folks, thus replacing the 'introductory pricing' concept. I will be fair to all

Yep! That's still something we have to determine...the tiers/quantities. All ideas are welcome

my suggestion is after 10 it should go down by 5's in a reaonable amount. 15 at the most to start goin down

will u do a combo gb also? lol kills 2 birds with one stone. make a buy for each piece and one for the combo itself. that would be a good idea to me? but just an idea.
