I had to used dental floss until I ran out...So the cheap red shop rags work just fine fyi. I pulled all of the badges off in about 5 minutes with the rag. Goo gone did the rest.

I checked the area for flaws after I finished. The only thing I have is a slight discoloration from the bowtie on the paint itself. When the rain / weather clears up, I'm doing the clay bar and buffing part.

I was just posting that for anyone who decides to use that method. Some people may not think very much about it and just gouge their car with the ice scraper. I scraped my front fascia once just cleaning off my headlights. It doesn't matter since I've got to replace it anyway though.
I used fish line and a heat gun, then I used bug and tar remover to clean it up myself...same process for the pinstripes that were on the car....except for those, the heat gun made it peel nicely so I was able to just grab and peel it away.

There have been a lot of people wondering how to remove rear badges so i figured i'd do a write up on it.
This is really easy and does alot for the look of the car.
i used-
an old credit card(to remove badge) you can use fishing line also.
meguiars body scrub
meguiars wax
hair dryer(optional)-but makes things easier
something to apply wax and body scrub with
now to start take the line or whatever you are using to remove it and slide it under the emblem. this is when you can use a hair dryer or heat gun to melt the glue a little and make it easier. once you have it removed get all the glue off with your fingers. now take the body scrub and apply it to get the last of the glue off. repeat scrubbing until you think it looks right. once you are satisfied with the body scrub apply some of the meguiars wax and remove. wash car and you are done.

My car has 10,000km on it, and my read badge is all flaking and falling apart.. so ima debadge sooner than later.
I want the dealership to warranty it though, so im not sure if I should leave it on until I get a replacement.

micro- I dont understand the question?
I just debadged my car guys. What is the official word on the best way to take off the goo left behind? I tried a sticker remover stuff from Advanced Auto that was on clearance and it was making a bunch of little tiny scratches(that is kinda stressful, not going to lie. lol).

Micro...there's a chance that the color of your car faded and the paint under the badge will be different, but probably not that noticeable. I wouldn't worry about it.
SSmatters...I have a bottle of Bug and Tar remover that works great...it's a black bottle with a green label..not sure what brand it is off hand though. There are a lot of different products that people have testified work great.
