Dual projector Gen 4 headlights

Ok so here is my how to on this little project. I hope its descriptive enuf. if I forgot anything well I Hope I didnt. if you have issues I will help where I can.

Remove the Headlight lens - I put the headlight on a cookie sheet and set it in the oven. 200 degrees for 10-12 minutes. seemed to pull away nicely. just try to pull it away and not have the goo drop back onto the lens or the inside parts. Adds to clean up later if you dont. Spend the time once its all apart to clear the channel of all the left over seal. as You will be using new stuff.

This is what you will be left with.

you will need to pull the chrome insert out. You will see that it is held in at 3 locations. the top is just the adjuster screw. unscrew that all the way. the other 2 locations are on the bottom of the insert.
You need to pry these off but be carefull not to snap them off.

Remove the Projector from the insert and then cut out the high beam side just on the inside where it starts to go inward.
Will look like this.

Next fit your new shroud into the cut out high beam location. Should look like this.

Since the stock projector will now be the hgh beam you will need to remove its cut off shield. unscrew and remove that portion. then reatach like image below.

Attach the bezezel to the projector. since it was not made for each other I used JBWeld or 5 min epoxy to hold it together. Then place the shroud withthe projector into the cut out location and attach it there using 5 Minute epoxy. like the image below.

You now need to install your second projector. I used the Mirrimotto mini projector. however the holes do not line up to where the original projector went. I went and got some little washers to level it up again and some aluminum flat bar I used to cut up and drill holes into to make new brackets. Like the image below. Be sure to make sure you put this back in with the cut off leveled out.

Once that is done you will have a part that looks like this.

Snap the part back onto the headlight assembly and put the cover back over and you will have this.

If you put the high beam projector out as far as I did your back end should look like this. showing that the rubber covers will go back on. If you did not put them out as far as I did then you will run into the problem of the High beam projector sticking out the back to far thus not allowing the rubber cover to go back on once the bulb is inserted.

Put the lenses back on. U used Butle tape that I got from theretrofitsource.com I think it was. same idea as taking them off. put the butle tape in the channel where the lens goes. place the lens over it and push on as good as you can ensuring the tabs line up. then stick in oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes. then push it right on and make sure the tabs connect.

install and run. I am using HID's in both projectors. please refer to HID install elsewhere

Since I used a 9007 Harness adapter that came with the new projectors I spliced the wire into the high beam wire for the driver side.

for the passenger side I used the stock 9007 harness wires to attach the turn signal and the high beam to that side.
