Ehhh... 100 lbs in the SS/SC can equate to around 1-2 mph and about .1-.2 seconds off the 1/4

removed your baby seat attachment. this is the bigg black metal thing that cross you car under your rear seat.

Trunk Shot

at that point, removed your whole carpet is not a big deal and weight almost the same as your front seat

take a big dump before you race, or hit up the gym and run 50 laps...werd! weight redux!!!

Seriously though:
would rotational mass count?...lighter rims ? might need sticky tires though. I heard there are some rims that weight 12-15lbs a piece, what do our stock rims weigh in at? north of 25lbs i am assuming?

water.. 1 liter is 2.2lbs
run a gallon of gas
take out all the fluid in you washer res.
hell take out all your coolant while ur at it... lol j/k

the driver can make a big diff too.. if youre fat.. hit the gym and lose a few lbs.

i personally run full weight.. because who is honestly ever going to run there car on the street without all that? kinda defeats everything.. cant really say your car runs a 13.9 when full weight it would be 14.3. someone with a 14.1 car will pull ur ass and call you a idiot or a bad driver

Every 100lbs in weight loss is good for about a tenth in a drag race. The amount of work involved really isn't worth that tenth to me.

Take out drivers seat and remove full front carpet, use one floormat (only if you want foot comfort) am remove center console up to the shifter to keep two cup holders. Hope it helps

I've done several of these weight reductions. The car seriously does handle and sound differently after you do the reductions. It's quicker, more responsive, and more nimble. You can hear the turbo spool through the downpipe and the stream of high speed air going through your catback. It's quite intoxicating.

I found a mystery key in mine too! It looks just like that, but silver colored instead of bronze.

I love the extra room. I went without a passenger seat too for a while. Something I'd bring up though is the airbag system. If you're doing cleaning and take out the seat, you have to unplug the passenger airbag sensor. If you plug it back in without powering up the car then you're fine. If you power up the car or drive with it gone/unplugged like I did, then the airbag system throws a code that won't go away and you may end up having to go to the dealer to take care of.

doesn't removing the baby seat attachment makes your car not as rigid as it suppose to be.
