is there anything I can do or do I need whole new leds? im average when it comes to electrical lol. is there a fuse I could switch out? thanks for the help

depends on what you are trying to do or swap out. everything pictured in this thread comes on the car incandescent and would require you to buy leds to solder in

Its not a fuse. You have burnt out the leds you put in by giving them too much power. Once you let the magic smoke out electronics never run again.
You have to either use 12 volt leds or use a resistor with a normal led . Resister values will differ depending on what colour led you are using.

Tcobalt it you still have my number text me. You migt have put the leds in backwords. Crave try diffused and cover the tops with pieces of black electrical tape

On the steering controls, do 0805 LED need resistors soldered in with them or is it a straight swap with the stock bulbs? I have 12V 3mm LED leftover from doing all of the other buttons if these are a better option than the SMD, but I wasnt sure if they would fit with how small the OEM bulbs are.

on the three spoke wheel there led to start with so surface led is the way to direct replacement.
