Has anyone ever just used the aftermarket heat exchanger, i mean the stock h/e sits way back there is it really make much of a difference, its blocked? Just a question i could be wrong correct me if i am. Your using the dual bypass which cools down intake temps correct?

you should take a pic from the top, so that we can see how much clearance there is with the front facia on.

**** yea. those things are bitches to get off. you gotta use channel locks and then you have to man up and take them off. i used liquid grease to put the rest of my **** on so when it comes time to take them off its alot easier. i used bolt clamps on all my hoses. i think i ended up using around 20. just guessing

if your looking at the car from the pics. the hose on the left came from the right side of the stock h/e. and the hose from the right goes into the dual pass. i just went out and looked. its connected to the middle nipple on the dual pass end plate

found on page 1... read

hey cole, quick question for you... i just mounted my cx tonight.dont have cahs for coolant and hoses at the mometn but my bumper is off getting painted. perfect time to fab up and mount the cooler. i dont havwe the dual pass or option b. i was wondering a couple of things, in your picture showing the stock h/e , tht line comming out of the top left of it...what is it for? does it have to do with the dual pass at all? and the other question is do i just disconnect the hose from the stock h/e in from the pump and connect it to the in on the cx and the out on the cx back to where the pump in was on the stock .or do i have that entirly backwards lol .

any help would be appreciated

yea the hose on left as your looking at the stock h/e will hook up to the right of the cx and the hose off the left of the cx will go to where stock hose was on the left side the stock h/e.. make sense.

and yes you have to run an entirely different type of plumbing with the option b and dual pass. so it is different
