How To: Make Your Car Whistle!

Ever been sitting at a stop light and notice a hot girl/guy that you want to get to notice you?

Parts/Tools Needed:
12v Siren from any parts store (Just the siren off a car alarm will work)- $15-25
Push button from radio shack (Must be the type that you hold down to complete the connection, not stay on kind)-$2
Wire (My siren came with plenty)-$3
Bracket (My siren came with one)-&?
Wire cutters, connectors, Drill with bit (same size as button), etc.

First, Find a good mounting place for the siren. I choose to mount mine under the driver headlight on top of the OEM horn. My Siren came with a bracket so i cut the bracket in half and used the bolts from the headlight "holder" to secure the siren.

Next, Run positive wire to a positive battery terminal or 12v power source. I sodered mine to the Terminal in the fuse box.

Now, Run the other wire through the fire wall and into the cabin. This was a little difficult. I ran it using a clothes hanger and pushed it through by the pedals.

Find, A good mounting place for your button. It can be a big, visable red button so people can see it and ask what its for. lol Aka: "Never push the red button!" Or it can be hidden like mine for stealth. I drilled a hole under my steering wheel and installed a black button.

Run, the wire you brought threw the fire wall to the button and connect using soder or some type of connector.

Now, Ground the other side of the button to a ground any where in the car.

Clean up all connections and reconnect the battery (You did disconnect the battery right?)
and you are done!

It takes a little practice to time the siren right to make a perfect "Whistle sound but It def. turns heads.

it's called wolf whistle.. they been around since befor you were sperm. the early ones were not electric but placed on the an air line and you user had to control the whistle with a string. now adays you can just buy a "wolf whistle" from and autoparts stor that can make like 10 different tunes.

I my self have an AAAAooooooGAh! horn on my VW. it makes me smile and is loud as hell.

Don't forget to run a fuse on the hot line if you didn't hook it up through a fuse at the fuse box......

Thats probably a good idea but if anything goes wrong, the siren will be fried, it wont hurt the car. I'll probably add a fuse anyway though.
