dude, i think it'd look tough as hell and then you could paint silver eyelids on them to match the body color and it'd be tight.

It's a bunch of BS. Look at Jack's (Jackalope's, that is) how-to.

Yea, I think I'm going to do that. How does everyone draw out the eyelids to paint them?

i followed this how to and mine came out great and i put on some eyelids. to do the eyelids i taped off the lights while installed. I used the line where the bumper meets the light kinda at an upward angle and then used the line where the hood meets the light. then i took a quarter and placed at the interestion of the tape and marked two dots on the quarter. i placed the quarter on a piece of tape and cut out around it from point to point and put that little piece of tape at that intersection of the two pieces of tape on the light to make the curve. wow that prolly confused all of ya!!

this gives the effect of the hood being rounded at the corners instead of cut off at the headlights.

I have a silver cobalt ss/sc and i really like the look of the color matched headlights that other people have done, but i havent seen a silver cobalt with color matched headlights yet to see how they look. i know chrome and silver look pretty close but does anyone have any opinions?

i know what you mean bro.. that sealant is like some kind of bio-chemically engineered **** thats extremely hard to take off..

iv gotten my second pair of headlights apart... iv sanded down the chrome and removed about 90 percent of the sealant.. their going in for paint at the chevy dealer this coming up weekend... my gfs brother in law is guna paint em for me for free again.. lol

cant wait. should look nice
