How to release shifter cable latches

I've seen a variety of methods posted about how to release the clips. I've seen multiple posts about people breaking the latches too. This is a super simple way of releasing the clips.

Get yourself a nice small straight pick, and insert it between the grey clip and the black holder. I'm linking to 2 videos that demonstrate it.

This is a little bit tougher due to the angle. Once you get the pick inserted, it may not release on its own. Exert just a small bit of force towards the front of the car, and it should pop loose.

This method is easy enough so that you can adjust through the cupholders if you need to.
