How To: Reset Speedometer/Tach needles
If you have changed your inlay on your speedo cluster and now your needles or gauges are off, I found a fix.
-Remove the cluster
-Open and remove the needles (keep the gas needle on as a reference)
-Plug in the cluster w/o the needles
-Turn on the ignition, then off, and watch the gas needle. It will eventually pulse a bit, then move to below empty....you need to do the next step before this happens!
- Cycle the ignition on and off, push the speed and tach needles back on so that the needles both point directly at 0. Try not to rotate them at all when putting them back on.
- Plug in the cluster, and cycle the ignition again. They should now all point at 0/Empty when at rest with the ignition off. Wait a minute or so and they will pulse and go to "off" and drop below the 0/Empty marks about 1/2 inch or so.
- Pop off the gas needle and repeat to adjust it.

Mine went from 8km/hr off, down to +/-1km/hr off
