You should change your plugs at the same time too.

Seafoam fouled a fairly new set in my old DSM.

A+ how to

word but we have around 6 quarts oil and most you put in the crankcase is a third of a pint does it really thin out the oil enough to damage anything? have you heard of this happening cause I run synthetic and don't want to put it in the oil cause I just did an oil change 2 weeks ago and we all know that **** aint cheap.

I'm looking for the same info. Can someone do a HOW TO on a 2.2 ????? Looking to do it on the brother in laws car which has 160 000kms. Like was noted earlier half the fun is putting it in the engine the other half is getting the smoke show on camera!!!!!

I'm not sure but from the photo to me it seems like it is the hose located in the same spot as the 2.0 am I correct? The hose that come down from the drivers side and runs along the fuel rail. PLEASE HELP

The brake booster hose that comes out of the side of the intake manifold is your best bet, but come to think of it mine is cut in the middle from the 2.4 manifold swap so it would be much easier for me.

I found this stuff, and I think I'll just spray some in the vaccum line.

That's more for cleaning a TB or intake air sensor I believe. Don't inject it into the engine.

Damn really? lol I thought I could just spray some in the vaccum line, per the website it states

DEEP CREEP. Spray through carburetor, throttle body or vacuum line and into the spark plug holes. Use Schraeder Valve hose attachment if needed for outboards.

Yay or Nay on this ???

That's what I did too, I thought I had done it wrong. Can someone do a thorough How-to on how to Seafoam a 2.2?

I know we are not supposed to do this but no one has posted how to do a 2.2 or 2.4 , go to google and type HOW TO SEAFOAM A COBALT 2.2 and hit enter it should bring up a cobalt site that doesn't let me mention the name but there is a how to in there.
