Meth Kit Install (Pics)

Finally got around to installing my AEM progressive meth kit. Here's some pics on how I did it and routed hoses/wires.

Here's where I placed the pump and tank. Now a little modification of the carpet will be needed but nothing crazy. I wanted to make it really easy to refill the tank as needed and this location was the best I could figure out. You'll see wiring is all wrapped up besides the red wires as I have yet to hook up the pump as I need some more wire.

Follow the meth hose out the back of the spare tire area. And the wires all wrapped up on the right hand side that go out to under the back seats. 1 of those wires is oem, 1 is fuel pump rewire, and 1 the meth kit wiring.

For now we'll jump into the car for wiring.

I put the wires dead center through the center console. Really easy.

Here's where I placed the controller. It should be accessible, but I wanted it hidden. Take me about 20sec to pop off that plastic trim to get access, so I think it's perfect.

Here you can see where I routed in the vacuum hose for the controller to ramp the injection since it's a progressive kit. This hose goes through the center console and connects to the controller.

Here's where I put the LED to notify me of injection issues.

Now... back out to the underside of the car to see where I put the meth hose for the methanol. I tied it up to the fuel hoses and routed over the rear suspension stuff.

Now you could route along the right side of the car... But I just tucked the hose in with the fuel tank to avoid the exhaust heat.

Here's where it comes out.

I just followed it along the fuel/brake lines all the way up into the engine bay. See zipties uncut so you can follow it easy.

I ziptied it to a hose up here just to keep it from pulling on the hose at the injection site.

And here's the injection point. Not hooked up yet as I need to flush the system before plugging it in.

We should.

OP, add a little more descriptive write up to go with the photos, and we will get this in the how to section for ya.

I would recommend placing the check valve closer to the nozzle holder, though. Otherwise, nice job. Nice tank & pump placement
