INTENSE Header and Downpipe Released.

With a perfect test fit and finalized quality control checks we are now taking PRE-orders for our Shorty Header and Aluminzed Downpipe.

This top quality ‘shorty’ header is the best value in the LSJ aftermarket. Designed by a G.M. airflow guru, it produces 5 to 7 more horsepower than the stock exhaust manifold on a slightly modded car, and more as you add boost. It will fit fine with your stock downpipe, the INTENSE™ 3” aluminized downpipe or any other aftermarket downpipe that fits with the factory exhaust manifold.

Our downpipe will fit fine with your stock exhaust manifold, the G.M.P.P. extrude-honed manifold or the INTENSE™ Shorty Header. The entire downpipe is 3” in diameter, and two outlet size options are available. The 2.5” outlet bolts right up to stock or 2.5” aftermarket cat-back exhaust systems, and the 3.0” outlet mates perfectly to 3.0” aftermarket cat-back exhaust sytems.

These items should ship September 18th, 2006.

We have not test fit it on a 2.4 or really even looked into it so I don't know for sure.

I'll buy one and test fit it if you guys take it back (and pay return freight) if it doesn't work.

Sound like a deal?

I'll also report ease of fitment and butt dyno power gain as well.

I plan on getting it dyno'd after it's installed, but I won't have a before to compare it to... That is unless you guys are willing to pay.

I'll be using the XTC B-pipe w/cat because you guys don't offer a high-flow cat version yet.

Or do you?

Very nice. I like how the O2 bung is located in the colector portion, not in a single primary like most of the others.

Ok, This 5-7 HP that you claim.....Are you basing that on a completely stock car with just the header being added?

What kind of gain do you predict for a Stage 4 car with a 3" DP and Exhaust?

It is the stock size, you can do a direct replacement with our header.

The stock size of the exit hole at the manifold's flange is 2 1/4." However it narrows down to 1 3/4" at it's most restrictive point.

The Intense header has a 3" outlet but the flange is the same as the stock one. just has a 3" hole in it instead of 2.25". This should bolt to all factory replacement down pipes
