Did anyone else tap into an accessory circuit in the fuse panel. I used a mini 10 amp add a circuit. crimped it to the wire, hooked up both wires to the gauge, then plugged into the odbII then the fusebox. When I turned on the car the first time the gauge powered right up, and i was like sweet. no problems here.

but then it shut off. and now it comes on and off randomly. I thought this was the fixed gauge, the "no more problems" gauge. WTF. last night on my ride home it came on 3 or 4 times then went off. this morning on my way to work it didn't power on at all.

I just tapped into the 12V source for the stock boost gauge and I haven't had any problems with mine yet.

I tapped mine and ran 10ga for the + and ground all the way up the A-pillar to my radar detector. That way it will be easy to add another gauge to my tripple pillar pod eventually.

reeper, it sounds like you are just having issues with power to the gauge....try tapping a different source and see if the problem persists

^^So now it is on and off? I thought you couldn't even ever get it to light at all.

If it's doing the on and off gig you might possibly have one of the older (pre-fix) gauges.

Who did you order from?

I have one of the older gauges and it does that all the time. It works whenever it wants to. I think my warranty is up so I'm stuck with this piece...

Yeah Aeroforce is a good company. They had a bad batch of gauges but they are more than willing to help people out. Just email them.

Sorry to hear that man. You have to be a bit more descriptive of the issue. When you say it goes out, does power completely go out or does the visual details just go away? Cause the issue I had the screen was still backlit you just couldnt make out the data.

So is it like the pwr issue, or you cant make out the text issue?

I too tapped off the stock boost gauges 12 v. Works fine for me.

I talked to Todd last Friday about my gauge refreshing slow. Seems like a really nice guy and great customer service. Since I live like 5 minutes from their company we were going to get together so he could take a look but we ran out of time. He said hes on vaction till Aug. 1st So you might have a little more trouble getting a hold of him untill then. His business partner Pat should still be there though. Also if Pat reads this, sorry I didn't have time to call you back. I've been working 12hr shifts so not much time to do anything. I will try to get back to you asap.

I'm out of town this week, and am not checking this site every day. Anyway, what you described is unusual, if you're sure the power connection is good you should probably return it to have us take a look at it.

Also, for the guy with the older version, contact me at sales@aeroforcetech.com, describe the problem, and we'll have you send it back for repair/replacement. In case I don't read it first mention that you talked to me on these forums.

Todd

I have the duel setup and my gauges seem to work fine although I have to unplug them or manually turn them on -- tried to reset CASE and had to end up at a shop to reset the code after PCM --- 400$ spent kinda pissed I'm playing games with them
