The mod team and I are brainstorming ideas on how to keep getting the vendor deals out there but not clutter up the "new posts" page.

Vander if you notice on your picture, you're in the "supporting vendor deals and group buy" section. which is where they're supposed to be posted. there and in their personal page. but it still comes up and fills the whole new posts page which is the problem.

I understand its in the right place what I mean is they dont need 20 post for every single item they sell, its just too much. He can put some of the free shipping in one thread or other ideas like that.

Please dont remove it from the NEW POSTS section... Other forums im on we can only post in our own sections and they dont show up unless you click the section to view and sales compared to here are way lower.

I think the vendor section should be limited to 5 threads MAX for any one vendor. Any more than 5 threads, and the oldest one gets deleted.

JM comes in, bumps his threads a FULL page, along with TWM, and all of ours are on page #2 or #3 (with HIDbulbs)...

No replies to their threads from any member, they are both posting to themselves.

I am all in favor for a max limit of threads, which should help this.

honestly nobody pays attention when they have 20 threads in a row. just a waste of time.

couldn't agree more... 3-5 max per vendor is good... that way atleast 3-5 vendors can be on the first page... !

Click his name. Click view public profile. On his profile, right under his name is a link that says User lists, with a downward arrow. Click that, then click add to ignore list. Then click yes.

I like the 5 thread max rule also their is no reason to list every product you sell unless u really do have it on sale, and on sale dont mean its normal price so I think 5 threads is more then enough to post what u have specials on.

This site isn't all too bad with this imo, it's really only one or two vendors who bump this many threads, and they never do it more than every few days. And for as much as vendor advertising costs, I can completely understand it. Sure it's annoying at times, but I've learned to just ignore it. Other sites I've been on though, so many vendors bump that many threads throughout the day that the new post button is worthless.
