yo....i just joined the site today....ive a long time browser of this site...decided to finally join up...i am totally down to run my balt....u guys be hatin if its stock for right now??? my son eats up all my money....(n the girl):/ exhaust is on its way baby ooo yea...thats about it for now..o yea i got special edition cobalt hub caps lightweight racing hubs lol...naaa id be down to run with you guys im about 45 mins from the dragway not a problem driving....this site seems like a real good cobalt community....and i am in love with my stock base cobalt so somone reply and tell me whats up please and ill prolly b seein u guys out there gettin smoked every run lol...

Hey Matt, I posted this on the Midwest ecotec discussion. Long story short the o2 sensor was bad. I just had it pulled today and two wires were completely exposed causing the short when it was rubbing the heat shield. I have a new sensor and adjusted the heat shield so when the engine moves with the header there's enough play so it doesn't rub. Car runs great even over bumps lol cause everytime I hit a bump or jerk the engine damn fuse would pop. FYI the 10a fuse (EMS) located in the fuse box in the engine bay controls maf and IAT sensors, clutch pedal switch, and both o2 sensors so if one thing is faulted and or grounded the fuse will blow. In my case my o2 sensor. I would post a pic but I don't know how sorry. I will be going back for a redyno soon.

I couldn't tell you they had to stop because of the blown EMS fuse, it was causing a very rich condition do I have no set number.

There is some people on another forum starting to ask questions about the meet.....tried to fill them in and point them in this direction for info. Someone linked the flyer but I told them about the thread here with more info.........

last year i dynod the S/C setup and was a little dissapointed, This year the turbo setup is getting dyno'd hoping for more than 197whp lol that was a slap in the face.
