I've known for a bit that my car needs a custom tune, and wasn't sure that a GM reflash would be enough. Rather than hope, I'd rather be certain, so I've decided to go with HP Tuners. However, the price of the software is more than I can muster. Not only that, I don't have the expertise to do all the right things with it.

So that's where I'd like some help. If anyone in the Chicagoland area has the HP Tuners software and has used it successfully, would you be willing to help me with a custom tune? I would of course pay you, and my mods are in the sig. The only thing to add to my mods before I tune will be 42.5 lbs./hr. Lucas injectors. So if anyone is willing to help me with this, either respond to this thread or PM me and we can work something out.

I heard he'd be on vacation for at least a week.

 

I will own HP Tuners very soon. I am in the Naperville area. It will be available at our shop in Naperville/Aurora within the next couple weeks. Custom tunes are available upon request! I will post more info at a later date. Also we will do full work on any car. Any cobalt that is in the chicago-land area I can hook up with any parts for a little bit above cost/retail. Install is also available on all Cobalts as I have done all the work on my car myself!

 

Haven't been in the area for the past couple of weeks, so here's a late update:

Sp00ner from the Redline forums said he could help me out for about $150 bucks, and also said that he has the GM stage kit injectors, which I plan on buying off of him as well. He said he wants to get into tuning more, so I don't think he would mind a few PMs from those interested.

I have it. Selling credits for $100 a car. Used it for my car so I have, I believe, 3 cars left. I can help you tune or make you something for an extra fee. I work with Ron, aka Shifted, who is like a tuning master.

I'm in the northwest suburbs. Barrington area to be exact. Hit me up if anyone is interested.

 

Oh and after the original credits are gone the price will go up to $150 per car and we'll help make a base tune too.
