The Olds Calais Internationals got me interested in the GM FWD stuff... Looked better than the Grand Am equivalent.
Other than that they existed I don't know much about the Olds V8 stuff though.

Sweet!! It's all good at least olds led you into FWD fun fact the first front wheel drive car was invented by olds it was the Tornado and the engines still faced forward instead of sideways....but through the years they all kinda stuck em' in sideways...we like to call the generations the 80's cut backs....no displacment and crappy small eniges...but quad 4 came about and wasn't a bad motor but had some bad luck cause no one would ever replace the water pump when they started to leak and would eventually have head issues...but it wasn't the motors fault....

I've had several Oldsmobiles and Olds powered cars over the years.
I still have a '94 Cutlass Supreme w/237,000 miles on it that still runs great.
Olds motors are the next best thing to a SB Chevy for parts interchange.
v8's
