So, I think I have this thing called the "Hydraulic tensioner" going bad on my car. I did a quick search of my symptoms and that's what I seem to find.

On cold starts, I get a pulley squeal noise coming from the motor. I don't know what to do about it yet, I read it's a $495 part. FML

roads are still wet here. i nailed it in third to get around someone on a damp street and instant tire spin. this thing is almost too mean to be doing this on the streets anymore. i need some dyno time now

 

lol, since its so mean, maybe you didn't have to nail it to get around someone, but then again where would all the fun be

chad should cut us both a deal to rent out the dyno for a little so you can tune that **** more and so we can price out the turbo build

I found 3 dyno's pretty close by here in the Cinci metro area. Going to get on the phone tomorrow, and see about getting on it soon.

I wanted to go to MKC's dyno days but I think I'll be in Camp Lejuene for rifle range for a week. Damnit.

I'll try and figure more out tomorrow if I have the leave days for it or not. I'm pissed Ill miss dyno days, again.
