I had the 3 red rings too.... I sent that **** back and they send me a brand spankin new Xbox last week

the same thing happened to my xbox 2, and they sent me a new one. i wonder if you paint it black if the will send you an elite.

i didnt buy the extra warranty they offered at best buy does that matter since i've only had it for like a week? and how long did it take them to send it back?

Nah I didn't have any extended warranty either.... it was about a week turnaround

mine happend like 3 yrs after i bought it but i never registered it. After it broke i registered and sent it in. It took them a while to send a new one though so i would go straight to best buy.

To be honest.... I sent mine out a week in half ago.... and got it back last wednesday! And that included the shipping back and forth!

I was damn happy with the turn around time with mine!
