I can always call tomorrow and tell them to pull it off the order, if you think it would be a good idea to just stick stock.

I'm going to gather it all up within the next month, and hopefully get going on it early August. Ill be in Nola from Aug 9-27ish, so I can have my head sent off, been thinking about porting it while I'm at it.

it'll get better. my consistent stock times were about .6-.7 seconds faster than my first few runs down the track.

I think this is kind of funny I finally broke down and bought these parts, only a few days after my "I want to push my Cobalt off a cliff" thread popped back up completely randomly in the lounge.

 

I would hope.....first time at the track. didnt lower tire pressure at all. and only brake boosted it a bit. i figured there would be a lot more regular cars out there, but oh hell no, almost everyone was trailoring their **** in and they were all running 11's and under.....then there was me and a 2009 mustang....he was running 13.4's all night though. not stock of course

 

Anyone not doing anything fri or those of you that want to go to the track.... Want to meet at that Hooters on I70 and little Blue or somewhere around there 6 or 7ish. I think Travis and BigSS said they could do meet up... dont quote me on that though. Hoping over 500 on a mustang dyno. We were planning on getting tuned at House of Boost. But some people tell me that House of Boost isn't doing dynoing at the moment because of the dune buggy incident. Our guy who set it up still says its on. So for at House of Boost on their dynocom, hopefully upper 500s if not higher.

I just got my car idling on my ID2000 injectors. At 40psi, the 2200cc injectors are idling at .06-.13% injector duty cycle. Its pure craziness.

Ya, my gasket is doing the same thing. It pretty much deteriorated and now all I hear until the exhaust gets hot, is the resonator ringing. Just got the new gasket, I'll be putting it on tomorrow

 

mines sounds like spool up and my exhaust is covered in that leak fix stuff at allllllllllllllll the cracks and still leaks i really hope its not the flex pipe my friends felt the air and now i dont but i still hear a ringing under the car a little bit

its the dp and i dont have the pacience or time to go get more gaskets and hope it doesnt leak

get some copper casket maker stuff, its a liquid in a tube. pick sometime when you won't be driving the car for atleast 24hrs. take your downpipe off and put the copper on both sides of the gasket and reinstall it. tighten it down till it barely starts to ooze out and then stop. let it sit for a full 24 hours and then it should be driveable
