Had a wedding rehersal last night. Didn't even know about it.

So, uh, I've got teh same issue has asian lover here. I replaced the gasket at the dp/catback part and it still rattles until it's warm. WTF. I cranked that **** tight as the anoos of a 7 year old too. ****'s pissing me off, I hate having a rattling car when Im driving around.

Oh, and fought and won against the stage 2 bolts on my car. 2.8/60's are on now. So much better, and fuel economy improved already too. Thought it would have been opposite.

 

try a heat resistant nonmetal washer between the bolthead and the flange and the nut and the flange.

i didn't use nylon i used a hybrid plastic from left over material at the machine shop. put it on the lathe and honed out the inside to fit the bolt. made 14 of them. 6-header-dp, 4-dp-catback, then 4 for the over axle. never had one rattle

 

I didn't have a rattle until after I put this magnaflow catback on. and even then it took several weeks before it started.

 

it could be something caught in the muffler then. i had a rattle about 2 months after putting the washers on. only lastest a day though then stopped so i didn't bother. but i've come to the conclusion that thats when my cat decided to come loose explode out the exhaust

 

No cat to implode in my exhaust though. So I'm just plain confused.

 

get an ottp long tube. then go to a muffler shop and have them fab up a split into 3" dump behind each front wheel

that fab job would be like $50-$60 from someone who knows what they're doing lol. if that. the header on the other hand...
