added an alesis meq-230 yesterday. my head unit has 7 eq bands. i just added 60 on top of that.

gettin a little more used to driving the new setup. went 13.867@104.23 yesterday with a 2.471 60' and 1/8mile at 9.10@83.65

this is pretty promising cause back before the tune and methanol and what not, when i was pulling 2.1 60' times. my 1/8miles were still at about 9.25-9.3

so even though i'm .300-.400 slower in the 60'. i'm still about .2 quicker in the 1/8 and about .4 quicker in the 1/4. can't wait till i'm back down to those 2.1's again. then i'll have to get used to launching with the slicks.

 

i got the meth to kick on so im good . just need to get some adjustments done so i can run it. you know the black plug i had that plugged the hole where the meth was before? well i cut the bottom part and threaded it in. its a tight fit now

they take on average 6 hours to dial in. zach came over yesterday and i was still messing with it. have 4 hours in today. 10 hours in yesterday.

some of my past car audio vehicles had a minimum of a month in tuning in them. i need some silk tweeters. aluminum domes are way too bright

 

how is the sound quality?

 

not bad for being thrown together twice in two days. i got pissed last night and took everything back out, and disassembled the eq and compressor. then put it all back in this morning.

fleetwood mac sounds pretty good IMHO, just a bit bright due to the tweeters

 

i don't think i have a good enough ear to sort through all the sound.
