jeremie, anyone with 08 cobalts come in with 4th gear grinding when shifting into it? I'm gonna have to bring mine in real soon...

 

we've had some cobalts in for various issues.


we had one that would go reverse in any forward gear and forward in reverse...


and another that needed 3rd gear, 3rd blocking rings and synchros. then it came back for all of the same for fourth gear.

 

when i brought mine in for the first free oil change about a month ago, i told the guy that put the sticker in my window that fourth was acting up and he told me to take it home and if it kept doing it to bring it back. sounded like he didnt want to have anyone work on it that day. Kinda pissed me off cuz it was like he was refusing me service. it was like a Brian or something,,,,he's got a sport red ss/sc with the low rise

 

did you bring it in on a saturday? i think you mean blain. hes the only other one with a ss/sc. but yeah, if it was on a saturday, we dont bring in anything except maintenance work. we only have about 5-7 techs there on saturdays. bring it up during the week and we'll get it looked at atleast.

 

yeah that was prolly him....but it was like a wednesday or something when i brought it in...i am sure it was not the weekened cuz I havent had a weekened off in over a year...

up for 34 hours straight.

drove out there at 11:30 at night. got there about 2. drove around for a bit. got 37-38 mpg on the way out there.

met up with him about 5 am. wasted money on a hotel room i used to watch movies in.

got some shots done, more of the rurual country setting. very missourish. got done about 11:00 put gas in the car. drove home. small redbull. medium redbull. 5 hour energy drink. i was ******* wired. got home about 2. washed the car. again.... got some food, at tims. played video games for about an hour. started to fade in and out of sleepy time. went to bed at 4. woke up at 10 am the next day.

seemed to have mis-placed my window cleaner and spray detail. doh!

it was suppposed to be me and 3 other cars. i was the only one who showed. we found out where wally and the beav lived, think of the movie pleasentville. very fucked up. a place called "New town" in st charles.

 

Well sounds like a good trip... and hommie the truck stops around here don't carry anything for cleaning wheels... but then again I only went to 2 of them and they didn't have anything other than just regular wheel cleaner like Eagle 1 and **** like that!

 

i'll have to dig through my trunk and see if i can find it. maybe it ran away like my other cleaning **** did
