A cruise would be fun, if the weather is right. I was gonna bring that up. Maybe some of the city guys can map something out for us?

I am about 2 hours west of the city, so not alot of people would be willing to drive out here. I have bounced the idea off matt (boosted) of getting some people together to come out here when it gets warmer, get together and get a camp site, and camp a night, then take off the next day and run some of the better roads up here. Namely, this route (LINK). This would end up being about a 5 hour round trip, from the campground back to the campground. We could stop and do a photoshoot in Galena, because there are some GORGEOUS places to take some pics. The road is insanely curvy, and the scenery is amazing. the quality of the road is awesome too. They just repaved it a few years ago, and its still very smooth as of last year, I have yet to get up there this year. Here is a video with a short sample of the road.

This is just an idea so far, since I am not sure I can get a weekend off work, 'til after July at least.

I was agreeing with you, and you said you just wanted to cruise, lol. My idea would be a mid summer type of meet though. Just saying thats a cruise in MY neck of the woods.

so i just finished up my rear brakes and now for some reason its making a noise cant tell where its coming from in the rear but it never did that before.

 

Depending on the noise... It could be the new brakes bedding in. Give it a couple days. Did you put any caliper grease between the shim and the pad? If you don't do that it can squeak, and will transfer much more of the noises to the car.

 

Would anyone want to purchase a zzp triple pillar? Im selling mine and i would rather sell it to someone here. its almost brand new only on the car for a few months.

Should have greased the caliper slides too, to make sure it doesn't drag at all.

Just a heads up if there is a cruise after the meeting tomorrow or anytime for that matter, lake shore drive is limited to local traffic only and one lane each way. 290 is getting repaved also and the ramps to lake shore drive from congress pkwy are closed. Construction is supposed to be going on until 2012.

I need to see how many could do it during the week, then we could do it sooner. I just don't have any vaca days that I can use, and i work all weekends.
