Need some advice!

I'm going to Chicago this weekend for a get away. I want to know if there is anything good going on. And i want to know the best places to eat at. I will be staying on Whacker Dr. at the Hyatt Regency. Any advice would be helpful.

Please spell it Wacker from here on out.

I work in a building next door to that hotel. If you're tired of eating out and spending money and just want something quick, ask how to get down to the Pedway that's below the hotel. It's full of places of food. Nothing really fancy though.

If you've never had Chicago deep dish pizza, I recommend Gino's East. Yes, it is very much worth the wait to get in the door, and then the additional hour for your pizza. If you can, aim to go mid-aftenoon, when there isn't as much wait. It's not a bad walk from the hotel, especially in this weather. It's just off Superior and Michigan.

If you're driving in, prepare to pay out the nose to park at that hotel. I think the signs are like $50/24 hours or something crazy.

Now i have seen that Lou's is the best pizza. And parking yea it's 50 for 24 hours. So we are gonna park down a couple blocks where it is only 25/24 hours.
