I'll go, what the hell. Can you post up where you're meeting up? I think if I have to browse one more forum everyday I'll scream.
Also going to the Adventureland autoX coming up (weather permitting).
We should do a dyno day at Wrenches soon too, they're still working out the bugs w/Dynojet though... so they're not ready yet. See who has the most powerful Cobalt in the area.

That would be fun, but if my dad and i do our grudge match that day then i will just cruise with him down there (he has an 83 mustang 5.0 spd, i have the 85, we both think ours is faster, so we are going to line them up and try to prove it ) Its going to be a very close race too, his best time ever is a 9.43 @ 76mph mine is a 9.46 @ 75.8x I have a harder time with traction, but i do have a trick up my sleeve

Yeah no kidding. I was running rich and there was a little bit of oil on the side of the block near the Cam Seal. So i was thinking. I went to check the spark plugs to make sure they were still gapped right... and when i pulled the Coil Pack off, the entire top end was flooded with oil.
Valve Cover Gasket went bad. So that's the picture where I was removing the old plugs and clean out the cylinders before putting new plugs in and the new gasket.
Gunna run down to the autoparts store and grab a case of synthetic oil and change the oil today.

Haha... my oil was like purple. Filled it with some Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic and fired it up. Sounds cleaner. Cleaned the car again and cleaned off the exhuast as I was running super rich.

Any of you guys have a stock LSJ DP? I got the exhuast manifold from Jn2 and will be running 2.5" back with a high flow cat.
Otherwise I have to find a place here that can custom make me a downpipe.
