There's a yellow SS G85 for sale in St Charles at a used car lot for 11995 i'm looking into. Stage 2 clutch, B&M Shifter, and Corsa exhaust. 23xxx miles

 

is that the one on the outer road of 70?.. there is also a black SS/SC about two dealerships down on that same road. Haven't stopped to check them out though

 

Pretty sure suntrup got rid of the black SS.

 

I wish I would have gotten silver. red shows to much dirt.

well i think i might be comeing in my cobalt ss/sc and i might be bringing my moms 09 hhr with me depends on if i have business in area at that time being i do decals on site for businesses im one of only 4 or 5 people that do quote / cutting / install on site

 

i looked at that one. lol. i liked it and that's where i found that my car is worth more than i thought. lol.

 

yeah i really like it. I don't think ill be able to get it.. but its likely. Any more on the price tag and i wouldn't have considered it.

 

well i was negotiating with him and i bet you could talk him down even more. but if u get it i get to drive it once. lol i wanted to but they didn't let me. i want to see how much of a difference there is.

Hey guys, I'm in Arizona but I'll coming through St Louie a few days after your meet. My son and I plan on going up in the Arch (I know...give us a break...we're tourists). I've heard all this bad press about "ohh...stay away from Eastern St. Louis" Is this really true? Also, is it safe to visit the arch?

the arch is cool to visit. that's a must when you come here. east st. louis, yeah, not a place you would want to bring your kid. its where the bars and strip clubs are. bad area.

 

When they say east st. louis they are talking about east st. louis, IL (on the other side of the Mississippi river). You do not want to go there. I would also avoid the North part of the city if possible.

 

^ What they said, but as long as you are there during the day, you should be fine in the main area of St. Louis.

 

Dragstrip in Illinois like 10 minutes from the Arch-open Tues. @ 5 if you're so inclined

(on 2nd thought you probably won't want to be breaking parts while on a roadtrip)

 

i might stop by that. i live near it so maybe.

 

I'm in Granite-like 10 min away. Couldn't get out there this week; maybe next. Not really familiar with the Midnight Madness thing(Friday) but I believe its open racing,too.

 

How far from Chicago?

Also i'm new to the Cobalt SS family, 09 SS/TC. Converted from a honda guy and can't stand them anymore.
