anyone familiar with the route 66 test and tune events?

so what do i need to bring including any records or legal docs and such?

you need a license proof of insurance a dot aproved helmet and cash. and make sure you r car is in tip top shape cause they put it through inspection first

after i get a helmet, didnt think i would need one. what kind do i need and what specs does it need to meet?

 

you dont need a helmet unless you run in the 13s, so dont worry about that, i like to go to them but i usually have to work, plus its expensive. dont worry your car will be fine, they just make sure you dont have nitrous and stuff like that, you dont need to bring any documents, just a valid license and maybe insurance but i dont think so.

 

ok route 66 test and tunes on tuesdays are so much fun!!! I cant wait to get my car back! I will be up there almost every tues!!! You only need a helmet if you can run faster than a 13.99! They do not ask for a drivers license or insurance card. they do put ur car through inspection... just looking for power adders mostly such as nitrous. if u have nitrous make sure u have all the proper equipment, blow down tube, purge and so forth... if u have a cracked windshield dont bother coming. they will not let u run! if ur window will not roll up do not come! They are very strict!!! It is a ton of fun!! like i said i will be up there pretty much every tues!!! I have an 06 arrival blue ss with carbon fiber hood running mid to low13's!

I work Tuesday morning so if someone wants to buy me 3 gallons of 100 octane (@ $5 a gallon) I'll come out and give you guys a little demo of the car and HOPEFULLY have someone get a good video

 

Whats done to ur car? I plan on a low 13 high 12 on pump gas right now w/o the hptuners.. after that gets put in im thinkin mid 12's! So I wanna know why ur runnin 100 octane?? u sprayin a lot or something or whats done to it?
