Hey everyone, in about 6 months, I will get a nice chunk of change, and am getting some mods. Anyways, about a year ago I got my car tuned by "Rob" who used to be a very active member on these boards, and havn't seen him around. I know he was from Indy, and he had a policy that you only pay for a tune once, which I already have.

So, does anybody know how to contact him so I could meet up with him and get my car tuned once I get the mods installed, or does anybody know anyone in the STL area that has HP tuners and is a good, reliable shop? Any other ideas would be helpful thanks! I have also thought about buying the Cobalt Addiction stage 3...has anybody had any experience with this? Thanks!

How many times have a i gone over this with you guys????? PBJ, MPCM Tunng, or if someone can get ahold of Jeff he knows of a really good tuner...I believe the guys name is Ryan or Andy??? Matt at HTP knows his name. Or call Brian Area47 and meet him somewhere and he will tune your car.

i took my car to Joe at PBJ today... $400 for a tune... HTP doesnt touch cobalts... they refer you to some Ryan guy from "P&P tuning" that does cobalts

Ryan owns one of the fastest Cavy's i have ever seen and he Tuned Jeffs 13 flat Cobalt ss/sc on street tires that trapped 110+........He makes Joe and PBJ look like ****. Go to Ryan and Matt at HTP wont usually touch Cobalts unless i refer them to him.

I dont know why i care anyway anymore, im buying a 1.8T Beetle.........Seriously, haha so if anyone has a friend who wants a nice quick modded RL it will be for sale at Dean Team in Ballwin very soon if everything goes good with my financing........

Joe ripped you off man, take your car back and have him re-tune for more power, you can make 255 on a stage II setup, you should be making 255+ with your mods in this weather.

Whats the word on PBJ? I know you guys are going there because I live like literarly 800 feet away from that place and I constantly see redlines and SS/SC up on the dyno. So can he tune very well??? I finally have some cash and after I get my catback and meth in the mail next week I'm looking to get a tune for a ST2, 2.9, meth, and catback.

 

He put down **** on someone's car. Forget who it was but he had a lot of stuff and didn't get much out of it. I know I was saying go there, but I know you can get more. Maybe if we can get a group of people together for a tune, we can get Area to come and tune us. I should have my cams by the end of the month and ready for a tune.

 

PBJ did mine with all the **** i have... he got me 250whp

 

Okay just got back from Joes shop and his tune is spot on for Dylan but its tuned for a safe AFR at 11.9 and he has a low reading dyno so he does good work....Also if you get tuned by him please tell him to tune you for around 12.1-12.2 AFR and you will make the numbers you want, him and Ryan are all we have unless we all pay Brian to come from KC and tune us one weekend. Me and Dylan raced, i had a car on him up to 100 and then he started creeping back and pulled ahead of me by 110 or so when i looked down at the speedo.....I got the 3 mod wonder car though (2.85", injectors, tune), so im guessing Dylan is making 255whp and probably 260whp in cold weather on his AFR.
