I would make the drive if I can find a few others from THE TRI STATE AREA it would be a fun drive.

we'll also be autoxing....so...plan on going twice in 1 weekend if your car can handle it :P

also...there will be several caravans forming...ESPECIALLY in newengland...come closer to the event, I'll be getting the caravans together and letting you know who the leaders from each region will be so you can perhaps meet up. Caravaning is FUNNNNN

 

Eh, we'll see. Don't know that I'd run a non-comp event but it's definitely a possibility. At least half of the events I do are run as 2 day events, but I'd rather save the tires, brakes, and driver for the points event Sunday. But like I said, we'll see how I'm feelin.

Don't get me all excited again. Last year's bash was supposed to be held in Marion, IL (my home town). I was cooridinating with a lot of people trying to figure out hotel situations and directions, only to have it cancelled just a month or two ahead. That's when I had my cavy though. New car, new buddies, new events I suppose.

The drag strip is in the process of being built. they're also talking about bringing nationals from Norwalk to Mansfield.

 

i called out there this week and they said event was postponed because the track wont be ready. any one else hear anything like this?if so when will the rescheadule date be?

not quite...not being addressed...ALREADY addressed. We've merely moved to another nearby track, hotels stay the same, weekend stays the same, event actually get cheaper...so its a win all across the board

yes, I moved it to 42....just drove through there last weekend, forgot that the track on the end is DOWNhill lol. Traction is a bit of an issue for some at the line, or at least it was that day....buT....

I take it that the 27th and the 28th is on a weekend like every other car show ever. So just like every other car show ever, i'll be missing this one too thanks to work. Count me out.

 

Im a maybe for right now thats a bit away.. but if I do go Ill caravan up with you all if thats cool with you. I think we met up in Columbus or somewhere along the way haha

 

we got people drivin from new york, florida, even at least 2 from cali...a drive from cinci ain't ****! It's only 3 hours, hell 3 hours of caravaning is the ****! Definitely something I wish I could have, its a little TOO close for me, I'd rather have a little time to caravan, thats half the fun. 27th and 28th is a friday saturday.....because most people will prefer to drive home on sunday

 

I dunno if you were talking to me or not but if you were let me clarify what I was meaning by a while away.. I was talking about July.. I have to put in to get off on that Friday also so I will try and get it.
