Damn, 3 months is too soon, I'll never have enough time to get it done. Seriously, when it comes in, I'm going to look in to the cost of installation and fw resurfacing. I gotta get it done. Last spring it was slipping a little in thrid gear on the dyno. Since the last dyno, I switched to a catless dp, zzp ic, and k&n sri. Clutch is slipping quite a bit in third gear at WOT now. I may look into upgrading my k04 for my next mod.

3 months at the earliest. should be plenty of time to order, ship, and have anything installed. Unless your $$$ is low and you are waiting to buy the stuff.

I have the clutch, it will be here monday. Just need to look into getting it installed and how much that will set me back. Wish I knew how to do it myself, but I would still need to resurface fw.

Speaking of the dyno day, some dude from DynoTune Motorsports in Cbus got hold of me and wants to know if we want a dyno day there. I will copy his message over and let you ponder.

Spring Meet.
Was wondering if you guys would be interested in having a dyno day as part of your meet? It would be for INTENSE Racing who is a sponsor of this forum.

For dyno days I do HP, TQ, Boost, A/F for $50.00. Below is a an example of a graph I give to the customer.

2006 Cobalt with a TVS. E85 Tune vs 93 Octane Tune.

Let me know if you are interested.

Take the flywheel to Napa. They do it for cheap I do believe. At least the one in NL does.

U guys can go wherever you like. I am sticking with BigShot. I like the dyno, the prices are right, and it's good to have as much consistency as possible when comparing results.
Comparing results from 2 different dynos is pointless.

Agreed. BTW, how long would it take to do a clutch swap if I did it myself? Any special tools needed?

I'll put in a good word for Dyno Tune Motorsports. Had my GTP dynoed there in the spring of 09 at the Ohio Club Grand Prix dyno day. Dyno Brian knows what's up. You Columbus guys should check it out, it's a bit of a haul for the NEO guys though.

You do need the clutch alignment tool which may come included in certain kits. If not, it's a GM only part. Vacuum bleeder also makes life easier.
Clutch installs on these cars are hell. IMO its worth the $ to save yourself the aggravation and busted knuckles.

Other than a PRS hardcore bar, nope. I'm saving up money till the spring, when I actually start driving the car again.

It says it's only $800 on their site, or were you planning on getting the MAF relocate and BOV as well? You could always just get the intercooler itself for now and get the charge piping later. ZZP is what I'm gonna get when it comes time for me to get an intercooler later.
