Anyone want/need tires?
I'm sure there's a "For Sale" thread somewhere on this site, but I'm a noob and lazy so I haven't found it yet. Anyways...
I have a set of (4) 225/40/18 Continental Sport Contact 2 tires from my 2010 SS/TC. They are the factory tires and have 1,452 miles on them.
One of the tires had a sheetmetal screw go through it (on the tread). The tire shop CLAIMED it couldn't be patched or plugged. Instead of buying one tire for $300.00, I replaced the entire set. Tire Rack lists this tire for $206.00 plus shipping, and I've been given quotes as high as $278 plus mounting, balancing, and tax.
Anyone interested? Make an offer? Be realistic... we're talking $800-1000.00 worth of tires here with 1,452 miles on them. I don't have a lot of room to have (4) 18" tires just laying around so I want them out of here.
I'm in the Akron area and would prefer to not have to ship these anywhere. I'm willing to drive and meet at a reasonable distance.
