Feeler thread for Cincinnati Dyno Day!
This is now the OFFICIAL THREAD
When: Sunday, April 19th
A guy that I work with and his buddy just bought a Dynojet 238, and is willing to work with me on hosting a Cincinnati Dyno day. The company that is helping us is called Doghouse Racing. You can visit them at inthedoghouseracing.com. Rocky Mason, the guy i work with, was 3rd in his Mustang league and will be helping us out with most of this
We are looking at maybe I am working with them on prices, and we have come up with this so far, and give me your input on prices as well.
$60 for couple pulls, 4-8 people going
$50 for couple pulls 8+ people going
$80 dollars an hour for the 1st two hours, $60 for every hour after that, thats if you are wanting to do some extensive tuning.
Like i said i work with these people and they are willing to do it anyday as long as there is 8+people willing to come out. This is also not only limited to cobalts. Any type of car you have and want to put on the dyno is good!

like i said this is just a feeler. a couple pulls like 40 bucks? what you think. and this would be in the northern part of cincinnati... a little above lebenon

its not a shop, its in a garage. They bought it in january from a performance shop that went out of business. The guys who bought it race in a mustang league and will be running there 10.2 1/4 mile mustangs along with us. But the machine is in the ground now just gotta get everything worked out from it bein moved.
thanks for reminding me on that one... Anyone that thinks their car cannot hold a dyno should not run on it... Before you run you must sign a waiver. That is one of the stipulations on running

hell, where have you been man? i txt you a long time ago and got nothin from ya man... how bout you hit me up again.. ill send ya a pm... im on the eastside now!
and update on the dyno: its all set in place they are just waiting on putting the tow hooks in for the straps and get the computer set up.. so hopefully next weekend everything will be in place.
And if tom is up for it.... those who want to can spruce there engines up before the meet... you know you want to after the hard winter..... so set it up before the big columbus meet so you all can have some numbers to talk about at the meet with others! oh yeah just think about it... oh yeah....

its 25-30 miles west of columbus. as of right now, i need to play with my intake manifold (converting to single pass), install my heat exchanger with a additional tank, port my supercharger, throttle body, and intake manifold, and im also working on something with the fuel system that could be a cheap aand effective way of saving cylinder #4 of starvation. theres also a 2.7" pulley and injectors to be installed, but i need hptuners for one thing, and i want to see how far i can push this car on the stock pulley. i dynoed at dynotune performance off of broad street in columbus and i put down 245hp and 212tq. thats with only a catless dp and revving to 7000rpm. the tune was stock minus turning COT off and what not since i no longer have a rear O2 sensor.oh, this was also tuned with EFILive which doesnt have all the tables i need. i never had a chance to dyno 100% stock because my stock dp was ****....
oh i forgot to mention i just installed my jbp vortex header. dynoed monday, installed it thrusday.
