I finaly got a video of my car at idle, and yes i know my rear bumper needs repainted badly, so please dont flame that. lol I just spent 5.4k on the engine build lol so give me a break. give me about 10 min and ill post it up on here

That sounds awsome! MAn I would love to have that sound! What does it sound like with some gas? Im guessing you have a bodykit, how much did the split exaust/ kit cost?

 

I'll put up some vid tomorrow of what it sounds like with gas. I'll try to get a buddy to shoot vid for me too of a drive by w/ out acceleration and w/ acceleration and all that. Just didnt have an extra body around today.

oh, the exaust, was $70 per muffler and my uncle did all the cat back piping and bending for free for me at his muffler man shop in waterford. He had a group of cobalts come in a while ago there, dont know if it was any of you guys. his name is Derek Clark.

i need to get my exhaust fixed...ill take it to him and see what he can do for me, its rattlin, but i cant figure out what it is(dont have the lift to get a good look at the whole thing)

 

could be a heat shield or a hanger broke loose

oh and if Derek is there when you go tell him that Adam hi (if he is like who is that just say your nephue) he might hook ya up but i dont know, depends on how slow business is. he has hooked friends up before but that was when he was busy all day there

cool, he was the one that told me about you guys. i was gonna try to come up on august 2nd but im going to luisiana to meet up with some friends from high school that moved down there

my uncle is kind P O'd at me for not bringing the car up to him and let his guys do my engine work. If i still lived up there i sure would have. the shop down here didnt know what the hell they were doing. i didnt check their work before i left because they were a performance shop and had a buch of bad azz cars sitting out side waiting to be worked on.
after i got the car back home and it sat for a bit i saw ranbow color in the water puddle under the car. I knew right away it was oil so i poped the hood and there was oil all over the valve cover, intake mani, throtle body, fuel rail. They left 2 valve cover bolts missing, and didnt tighten down any of the valve cover bolts except for the ones around the spark plugs.

 

oh no, dude that sucks...i would bitch them out so bad...

Guys, im going to try to make a trip up to michigan for the weekend of the 18th of August. No promises though, the Navy is completely unpredictable when it comes to this kind of stuff. Delta knows, i was already supose to come back twice by now but my car was still in the shop for one of those 2 times.
