I'll probably be down around Wixom once a week or so to hang out with the wingless black T/C. I have an Imperial Blue 2.4L w/ orange fender stripes, 20% tint all around, headlight covers, and blacked out tails.
I know some of you know about my STS build. Well here is an update
My new engine is installed in the car and everything and i the mechanic told me about what he thinks happend to the motor. In short he said that if a motor is not broken in properly ALL rod bearings will go bad, not just one cylinder. One cylinder may fail before the others is likely. What he saw was only one cylinder rod bearings were burnt up, the rod endcap bolts were streched, trq'd and snaped only on one cylinder. He said the only thing that can explain it was that the end cap bolts were not properly trq'd down.
To further back his claims up he just finished taking the motor out and putting the new one in and he said they Mckey Moused the engine back into the engine compartment. He had to order all the proper nuts and bolts and for the ones that were STILL missing. Not only that but he had to re-run some of the wiring because they left everything hanging around the block and dangling.
I will never go back to Millenium for anything, not even an oil change. From now on ill take my car back to michigan.
OK enough of the rant, lol. I'm going back to michigan friday to pick my car up.
I know some of you wanted to check out the set up so if you want send me a PM and ill give ya my phone number and ill meet up with some of you while im in michigan on the 17th

Welcome! Dearborn/Canton over here. But yeah you obviously received the link where all of us Metro Detroiters meet up. Talk to the guy above me, Alan (Shibito) he's having a meet over at his house in Lapeer on the 25th for the Michigan/State game. We've met up a couple times so far. I'm sure there will be more meets, if you're on here often enough you'll see them. And we'll PM ya.

Hey all, just picked up my silver 2008 SS/TC on Saturday. Not new to the Michigan sport compact community though, I traded in a 2006 Civic Si and before that I drove a Nissan.. I've been active in the area for years at events and on forums such as Xceedspeed.
Can't wait to start tuning my SS! Loving it so far. Hope to get to know a few of you.
I live in Waterford by the way.
