I agree. Considering this will be a virgin thing for them, I think it should be slightly cheaper than their standard rate. Once they have proved they can produce solid, reliable tunes with HP Tuners, then I'll feel their pricing is fair.

UPDATE: PTUNING has decided to purchase the HP Tuners software, and to use my car to establish a base map. Once this is completed, I will coordinate with the tuner for pricing.

Cool beans.

Side note: I've heard that their dyno scores on the low side, is that the case? Just curious.

Dyno Dynamics are known for its low, but accurate readings. It reads about 10% to 12% lower than a Dyno Jet.

Well that's great for the LSJ guys. Too bad there still isn't ONE shop in VA that has any knowledge of tuning the LE5, lol.

I'm interested in tuning my 2.4L but not for $250+ that's almost enough to buy the tuner myself, and I have plenty of exp with HPT.

Tommy (Cebr3bral) is selling his SS/SC. He cracked his tranny drag racing (w/ 237whp) and decided the car wasn't strong enough for the type of racing he wants to do. He's now selling it and will likely be replacing it with an EVO.

That means its very doubtful anythings gonna happen with HP Tuners being as he was the sole SS/SC owner that worked for PTuning. But who knows, maybe they'll pull through with HP Tuners eventually.

maybe we should get in touch with them, and see if we can be test cars.
