Also...for those making comments about just eating all the time....its been winter time with no shows in the area and its been too cold to meet some place outside....you cant expect too much during the winter time.....but if anyone has any other suggestions...then give them up...I guarantee you that in about a month...there will be so many things to do you wont be able to keep up.

hey warren who did the work on your cavy? i was wondering because i just ordered my egale forged rods, wiesco forged 8.9:1 compression pistons and the ferra valves. I'm hopping that my car will be running again before i leave fro neptune warrior but we will see.

Thats what i thought, ive already been talking to them and as soon as my pistons and valves come in i can have my car towed to them and they will do the work. I dont really understand how they charge for labor though, he said something about 800 to pull the motor out and put it back in, does that include the work to rip the block apart and put the new stuff in or is that extra?

=*( my car probebly wont be ready by then but ill try to see if i cant get there or not. isnt the 31st a saturday? if i read that right then i should be there but if its on sunday i have duty.

That sounds like their average pricing. I know they charge $75 an hour. Their estimates are usually accurate. Sometimes they go up or down depending on what needs to be done. Call them again tomorrow and ask them to specify their charges. They'll go over it with you

I've never had a problem with them and they've done plenty of jobs for me. Half the time people bring their self made problems to them and then they wonder why their cars aren't working right. So, I've heard both sides about them. But, I never had a problem with them

 

i printed off the section of the 2.2L GM build guide for the instalation of the new pistons and rods. In it GM lays out step by step procedures on how to do the R/R w/ out having to pull the engine out of the comparment. I think im going to give this to them guys so i can save me some money on having to pull the engine out. Plus i dont want to run the chance of them forgetting to re-connect a connector or something, like on cesars car when he took it back to the dealer and they forgot to hook up the vacume line on the supercharger.
