Ideas for Va Beach and Tidewater region Cobalts

Who's car is it?
Art, I start out in 1st when I am at a complete stop...you'll notice its a pretty short gear and you will have to shift to 2nd quickly. I don't know how the 07 is, but most reccommend shifting when your RPM's are over at least 3k to prevent slippage of the clutch (reference Badmunky's thread regarding shifting) If you are still moving, starting out in 2nd is the way to go...3rd and 4th have plenty of power...I usae 5th for fuel economy...down shifting is good till 2nd, I never downshift into first unless I am BARELY moving and I mean crawling, less than 5 MPH, it just feels too hard. I'll just come to a stop at a light and then put it in first.
Overall though, 2nd and 3rd are my fav gears esp when you get the CAI, man does the supercharger scream in those gears!

So what is this domestic disturbance thing? and where when do yall meet up. i live in Richmond and would love ot meet other people with balts. my p's live down in Chesapeake so i'm from the area.

Domestic Disturbance is a Cobalt club that meets up every 2 weeks to hang out and discuss when we will attend car shows and race events. Right now, we also have an srt4 that hangs with us, but other than that its about 22-25 cobalts. You should come down and have some fun with us sometime, the group is hilarious! We normally meet at a restaraunt off of Jefferson Ave in Newport News and in Va Beach we normally meet at the new Town Center and decide from there. Meets usually begin at 12 so everyone shows up around 11:30-11:45 and it goes from there.

Sounds Sweet. ill have to put that down to come... Va beach is a bit of a drive for a one day thing but Newport News is straight.... hopefully ill be out there on the 31st.... i also sent my info in on the site... laterz

Well i did a little driving around this morning. took a friend out to lunch. i ve talked her ear off for about a week about my car, so she finally had a chance to see it. i took her for a spin, and stalled out! argh. shifting is getting a little better on my part. but man am i a big wuss! i m driving my cobalt like an old granny! i m sure that will chance as i get use to her. well im headed out again! i ll c u guys tonight @ sonics!

im going to get a video of my supercharger stock on a test run...then over the weekend with the new mods im going to get another video of it. So I will have a before and after supercharger effect this weekend...i will let you guys know how it goes

mmmm Wine... Well, I wont be able to make it because of work, but for those who plan on meeting at freedom wash at 9:30 for the friday night meet, bring radios in case we go driving again. We had a blast last time. Sunday, I still need to know which Va Beach people are meeting me on the lynnhaven parking garage roof for the NN drive. We will be having a BMW M Roadster accompanying us too. The owner pwned me today in his F150 SVT Lightning. 480 to the rear wheels. Supercharged. Amazing to say the least.

HAHAH I love my orange... im getting a nice stripe put down the drivers side with a small pinstripe parallel to it towards the passenger side of this custom green i had made.... it looks hot with the orange. 
as for the 15th i wish i have some friends form college coming and this is not really their thing so eh ... but the meeting on the 8th is looking good. hopefully something else dose nto come up
just a quick ? i have seen a wing i don't remember where but it has the thick sides like the high profile wing but its lower... where can i get that?
