hey eddie. My car is sitting at millennium right now getting worked on. I might need that head from your buddy after all. I got shafted by the guys back home on my head i orderd. the first head they sent me was cracked and then the second one they sent me was for the duramax diesle engine and from the looks of it a 4 cylinder one. but anyway, i got to thinking that if the valve was bent, and our engine is a zero clearance engine, that means the piston was probably driving the valve into the seats for the valves and may have deformed the head. I'll let you know more when i call millennium tomorrow.

I did mine with the paint you are going to be picking up...first,hit it up with a shitload of brakecleaner...John's right, the dust is a bitch...next, sand down the majority of it with some 500 grit, then remove the caliper...its really easy, there are only 2 bolts on there, want to say they are 5/8 in...Once you do that, remove the pads, again simple. Let the caliper rest on top of the rotor, but be sure to cover the rotor with some newspaper.

Hopefully, there isn't any differences between the 06 and 07. Might want to make sure you have C-clamp to push the caliper piston back in.

I have some pics in my thread under my sig on the wheels...If you need any help, give me a call, you should have the number!

EDIT: Get some high temp Engine clearcoat for them in the automotive section at Walmart....

if you remove the rear brakes calipers, take a pair of needle nose pliers and turn and twist to get the piston to go back in.
